Haye fighting arreola would be a mismatch.
Arreola would get KTFO and would remain a slug in the ring for future opponents.

Right, after all it was Arreola that was getting dropped by former SMW. :nut

I think both are more hype than substance but at least we'd get an exciting fight and find out who's the real fraud.

The question will be if Arreola can take Haye's best shot? If he can, Haye is toast. But Arreola went to the Sam Peter school of defense and James Toney school of physical conditioning which doesn't make for long careers as a hw. Haye should land first but his stamina, defense and durability are huge question marks.

The winner becomes a legit top 10 hw and genuine opponent for the klitschkos. The loser is finished.

    coinflip fight in my mind.

Memo, u should make a poll. I'd be interested to see this. I reckon 65-35 for Haye (adjusted for UK bias :yep :yep)

Would be a good fight for the fans, but probably not great for the wallet. I doubt Haye wants to risk any possible roadblock for his deal with the Klits, and although Arreola isn't quite the best, he have the power and decent abilities to have a chance to KO most heavies including Haye.

Arreola's defense is bad an his chin isn't that good either, he was hurt by Walker many times. Haye will pick him apart and win by KO in 5.

Arreola hired the Darryl Hudson, a very well known conditioning coach, thus I don't think his conditioning would be that much of an issue.

And you think Haye has better defense with his left hand by his waist, and his off balanced Haye Makers. Haye's chin is self explanatory. Arreola chin has been through 27 HW fights compared to Haye's 2-enough said.

that's the key right there. i don't think he has a great chin but it may be solid. it's just that his defense is so bad, he gets hit so much. Mccline i feel stunned him with a hook too.

But Haye let a shot-to-**** Barrett hang around for 5 rounds and got hurt himself. Barrett had 0 defense and is no puncher. So if Arreola, who is heavy-handed, connects, it could be Haye mopping the canvas yet again.

yeah but if a pro can't stay in shape at his young age, it's hard to see him changing as he gets older and fights less frequently. It's only going to get worse. It may not hamper his stamina against journeymen like Walker or washed up gatekeepers, but you better be in the shape of your life against the Klitschkos.

A bigger concern is his wide open defense. It's worse than Peter's was. You don't let hws hit you, then shake your head...that's some stupid **** right there :deal

You obviously haven't seen Arreola's fights because he has been rocked several times throughout his career. Haye got KO'd due to stamina issues.

Let's not take credit away from Barrett who could have just stayed down. But he didn't he had the heart to get up. By the way, it was a slip.
