Adamek and Golota: Friends or Enemies?

    I recall that Adamek and Golota were friends in 2005-2006. I know they went on at least one skiing trip together. Makes sense since they are both Polish fighters based in the U.S.

    But lately I have heard there is bad blood between them. Is this just hyping up a potential fight or did they have a falling out?

    There was talk of a fight but it didn't happen.

    They are friends.

    Golota repotedly entertains Adamek's wife at nights.

    I think they were friends till Adamek went on record saying that Golota spends a lot of time with whores (btw. to address the posts above, I don't think Adamek was referring to his own wife :yep ). Golota even threatened to sue when this made it to the papers and Adamek seemed unapologetic, if memory serves me right.

    Bottom line: though the thing was hushed up, I don't think they go skiing together anymore... (and this happened way before anyone mentioned an Adamek - Golota fight so I'd assume it was genuine & not pre-fight hype).

    That is a shame if they are no longer friends.

    Golota was good friends with Dariusz Michalczewski before they began **** talking each other to the media. Golota should hang out with guys like Oliver McCall and Ike Ibeabuchi instead.

    is adamek going to become a USA citizen? He lives here now permanently. Doesnt Golota live here now as well?

    I actually spoke to both Adamek and Ziggy yesterday, and I never got the impression that there was any bad blood, but rather, a competitive rivalry the likes of which often exists between friends.
