Just watched for the first time since it first showed and i had it 7-5 Winky even 8-4 The best Jermain got was a draw but Jermain wanted the rematch to put no doubts on who was better and Winky bitched out shame it would have been a good match who did u all have when they fought?

Close fight. A draw is justified.

Winky has always been a really really great fighter. He's mixed it with them all.

Winky won that fight. He was backing Taylor up and landed the cleaner punches I scored it 7-5 Winky.

The thing is, its really hard to score a fight with guys who use the ear muff guard. Alot of punches are half block, half hit. So its really hard to score a fight with them. I usually try to tell how much their head moves back. Because, if you block it with your glove, and your head still goes flying back, I count that as a hit. Some people dont, some people do. Its really hard to score against them

This was one of the few fights where i completely agreed with a draw. Tough fight to score as almost every round was supercompetitive. But i think if anyone won this fight, it was Winky. But again, have no problems with a draw.

I think I had it 7-5 to Taylor but a lot of rounds could have gone either way. A draw was fair imo. Winky certainly never schooled him the way some people make out.

Winky won 8-4, I don't see how people can say he gave the last rd away by using movement, Winky was using his old style and landing punches, Taylor did NOTHING at all to win rd 12.

Great point, thats why the Cotto-Clottey fight had so much debates about the score.

this fight makes me sick...not necessarily b/c i thought Wright one, which I did, but just how things couldve been different if he got the decision. They probbably fight a rematch in a neutral fight and Winky wins. If you remember this fight was fought very close to Taylors hometown. Winky was number 2 p4p at the time coming off his win over TITO. If he beats Taylor, who beat Hopkins, who beat Tarver, who beat JR., its hard not to put him #1 p4p....

Very good point. That's why the Cotto Clottey fight was difficult to score. The turtle shell defense is difficult when scoring celan shots vs blocked shots.

I thought Wink deserved the decision.......also I might add if Wink had got the decision Pavlik would NOT be the champion @ this moment.......but in all I have no prob with the decision thats been ruled
