Crappy main event but a decent undercard with Akash Bhatia vs Jamie Arthur in a british title eliminator. Sutherland agaisnt another crappy opponent, theres also Ashley Sexton and Ian Napa in a comeback fight. Ryan Evans debut to.

With Hayemakers TV deal ****ed, and them cancelling shows like Liverpool 4/7, anyone think that some of their stable might switch to Hatton.

Josh Wale's already gone to Tommy Gilmour who's got TV through Matchroom

Haye will get picked up very soon i feel. The guy put on some good shows and has a decent stable.

Anyone heard about when Rhodes is going up against Konecny?

(Edit) Just checked it out Konecny is facing some guy on the 3rd of July so i doubt it will be soon if it happens

No doubt that Haye himself will get picked up but what about his fighters? THere seems to be more promoters than TV dates around at the moment and hasn't Hatton got an 8 fight deal with Sky already in the bag?

I realised that you meant that, I just think that there may not be enough dates on Sky to accomodate another promoter. Now if ESPN decide to replicate Setanta's programming then that would be another matter.

I wouldn't put down the main event two much, okay in terms of quality it's not great(no disrespect to Booth he's a very good domestic fighter but at Super-Bantamweight he's too small and Dean isn't quite British level). However it's an even 50/50 fight for once and should provide us with a very good competitive main event. Which is something Sky have really been lacking recently.

Especially if you consider the Don Broadhurst/Nathan Cleverly v severely overmatched opponent cards.

A good quality eliminator on the undercard with Bhatia v Arthur, we get the see whether Bhatia is the real deal at British level or not.

Ian Napa is in for a tricky little test against a novice, but an unbeaten novice who's fought at a very high level for someone with only 5 fights.
That's pretty much an unofficial British eliminator aswell with Napa set to fave Davis next month a win for Hall would probably see him get the fight instead.

Darren Sutherland v overmatched opponent, okay not great but hopefully we get an indication of how Sutherland has further progressed.

Ashley Sexton is coming on nicely and has a British title shot nearly within his grasp so another good performance is key for him.

To top it all of(lthough I doubt we'll get to see them) we have the comeback of Martin Power and young Heavyweight prospect Tom Dallas.

Now there's nothing special about the card, it's just decent throughtout.
But considering the tripe Frank Warren has handed us since his return to Sky this is a blessing and the card hasn't got just one main fight but a decent undercard with the quality sustained throughout.

To be fair mate he's starting at the bottom, he does a lot of work with the amatuers aswell, Joe Murrays looking a good fighter so far though.

He's got an 8 show deal I believe with sky hasnt he? So I suppose we can expect to see them on a few PPV undercards
