juanma by vicious ko inside 3 rds ....i can see gamboa landing a flash kd on juanma along the way but ultimately getting stopped inside 3

reason is simple he doesn't keep his hands up and is too cocky.....

I can see Gamboa running into a right hook with his hands down ... he doesn't have much of a jab and when he gets hit or hurt he gets reckless ...

all the athleticism in the world can't help his deficiency of having his hands down.

Gamboa sucks. He's a bum's version of Guzman.

Gamboa by guillotine execution of Juanma. What I saw yesterday was a mediocre fighter against Lontchi.

    Kid

It's obvious Gamboa is your boy. Yes, cuba has more amatuer experience which imo. don't mean ****. But, your boy is by far wreckless in the ring.
Juanma is way more mature has a fighter let alone with great stamina and
punch output (NO COMPARISON WHAT SO EVER) Gamboa will definitly catch an "L" against Lopez. Sorry!:thumbsup

I agree. If they fight in 2009 Juanma toys with Gamboa.

Given the proper training and good experience
In 2011 Gamboa toys with Juanma.

Gamboa could be the next pac if things work out well at Gamboa's camp:think

I wish this fight never happends and if it does why is bob arum in such a hurry... Let them fight more opposition... Gamboa is being underestimated and Juanma should be careful if this fight happends anytime soon... I like both guys as of right now though I must give Juanma the edge, but we should remember he will be the one moving up in weight... Good luck to both guys:good

More or less my thoughts, people assume that after Gamboa sees tapes of JuanMa he would get reckless and put his hands down, Gamboa's defence and gotten alot better and as long as he doesnt get cocky and put his hands down I 'm sure Gamboa would win. But if he does get cocky or reckless than JuanMa would floor him.

Exactly.... I was high on Juanma's until yesterday, his stock just went down a lot.... Lontchi is a local fighter from when I'm living and I've seen him fight live, he is nothing, he has built up stats and I really thought Lopez would finish him early.

This being said, JML is still one of my favorite fighters and Gamboa is my #1 along with Pacman. A fight between them would be my dream. This forum is just full of proud boricuas and it's easy to understand why they mad when yuri gets more international attention with fewer fights. This wasn't to offend anybody, only the real facts. (let's not talk about them "glass chin crew" members who know shiet about boxing...)

Now ricans will go all mad and start saying shiet... but who gives a damn... this would be my dream match and I'd pay anything to see it. I can't see how this could not be fight of the year material.

Both are great fighters. I have to Pick Gamboa UD or late stoppage because he has comparable power, more speed, movement, etc. I am a fan of both but I have to give the edge to Gamboa.
