His lifestyle won't allow him to be a factor anymore. He hangs on by pure knowledge of the game. (Might not be enough in a young man's sport)
It's unbelievable how that win is overrated by Toney fan. Can't blame the Toney fans for overrating it though, what else will they brag about in his failed heavyweight journey?, the win over Guinn?
Do you seriously believe that Toney even had a chance at beating Wlad? All the steroids in the world wouldn't have helped him against Wlad. I am a Toney fan (I think the guy is hilarious) and wouldn't even want to see him fight Wlad. His solid chin could really get him hurt against a fighter like that. I wouldn't watch him against either Klit as well as I wouldn't watch Holyfield against the Klits. Who really wants to see non-competitive matches with the possibility of old ring legends really getting hurt? :-(
Thats not fair. Toney was a decent hw. He beat peter in their first fight In the shape of the fight against Holyfield he would be dangerous for every guy today. Damn shame, that he was so lazy.
I thought Toney looked 'shot' in the Oquendo fight. He looked like he had no legs, timing was way off.....I think he's done. I hope I'm wrong though.
He's to fat, old, short and lazy, and can't fight without steriods, so good riddance, listening to him talk is painful enough....
