Questionable stoppage. The cut wasn't that bad. Especially if you think of what other fighters have been let continue with (Cotto against Clottey and so on).

i think its agiven that prospects fights are stopped quicker than two top fighters
Can someone clarify the rule for me
Is the ref told to stop the fight when the ighter cannot defend himself or cannot in the res eyes win the fight?
This type of thing really erks me , i would just like to see some consistency

Darren took some shot's tonight and his defence will need tightening up but it was good to see him in with an opponent that doesn't just lie down and Rasalev actually made Darren work for his victory. Far better to give Darren a good test than just have him showing off his skills against a human punchbag.

I think darren would have won anyway but i feel the fight was stopped because darren was also being badly marked up must protect their investment

the cut was not that bad...more like a scratch..but it might not b fully healed in 10 days..his performance was pretty shite 2nite...he needs a little more urgency when he fights...jim rock might kick his ass:good

Guys it was reported that Andy Lee is moving away from detroit to New York pretty soon, thats what he told the guys in Germany last week, but did anyone see an article saying he was going to look for an American promoter to get him in the ring more often and with a better class of opponent.
If this is true is it the beginning of the end of Andy and Stewart?Personally i think this could be the making of Andy Lee.I'm sure a top promoter would love to have Andy as one of their prospects.

I think I've heard the same as you, liberties, it will be an excellent match-up if it comes off. Hopefully we don't have to be clandestine for too much longer and we get the go-ahead to announce.
