I was expecting Maidana to be the one to quit after the 2nd round, his face had that look. But he got up, fought on and battered Ortiz around. Made me a fan. Good for him, he earned it.
:goodYou can tell by the way he speaks how much he appreciates it. I think that's the overriding difference between Ortiz and Maidana: Maidana needed this and, ultimately, wanted it more. Ortiz seems to have completely changed his tune in the last few days so hopefully he'll regather himself and return more dedicated than ever.
i like maidana. can't wait to see this guy fight again. we need more warriors who are actually good sportsmen in boxing.
He is a very humble man you should've noticed it on the post fight interview but he is a tough mother****** who hits like a mule and doesn't know what the word LOSE means (I ve been watching him since his third pro fight)
