I am a Pavlik fan but he needs to fight the best to be the best, plain and simple. On his way up it seemed he was doing just that but he needs to stay active now. Like tays says he's the damn champ! Defend that title, unify. Put your troubles aside and box.
How could any real Pavlik fan want these fights? It does nothing for Pavlik's legacy and is just a waste of his prime.
Honestly though if Lara, Jacobs and Korobov don't shoot up the boards...Pavlik might have to settle for guys like Bora, Duddy, Mustahce Antonio Rubio and Pocket Rocket Locketts. It's how the division is set up. Arum will not put Pavlik up against no name German guys as much as guys like Sylvester and Gevor would make his resume look so much better. Instead if a guy has an inkling of name value in the U.S, Arum will put the against Pavlik. The question is when does he move him up in weight?
