Pac vs JMM II Round 1

    I was wondering to everyone that has seen this fight, what was your score on the first round?

    From round 2-12, I scored it even for me. I really don't know who to give the first round to. It seems like whoever won the first round, won the fight.

    besides the scoring, seems like Pac was landing heavier punches, but I can't help and notice that Pac had a hard time with JMM left uppercut straight right hand combination. It was money for JMM each time he attack with that combination. I wonder why JMM didn't use it enough.

    any thoughts?

    i scored it to marquez,close round though cant argue with it goin to pacquiao

    same, it seems like JMM took more damage than Pac did.

    i scored it for pac... ring generalship in rd 1. marquez looked like he was just waitng the whole rd. compubox can justify it

    tough round to score and a microcosm of the whole fight: close and could swing either way

    I scored it just about for Pacquiao, can certainly see people giving Marquez the round as well.

    Watched it 6times and scored rd1 six times for pac. call me blind but do i need to see it the 7th time?

    I had it for Pac, since I think he landed more. But Marquez did land the most significant punch of the round, so I can see why someone would have it for Marquez.

    pac was more active while jmm connceted with the clearest blow of the round at least on HBO tv. the judges could have seen pac's punches a little clearer than us that's why they gave the round to pac.

    I didn't think much happened aside from the big punch that Marquez landed, which is why I gave the round to him. I think this is a round that could be fairly scored even.

    marquez. i had the fight for jmm 7rounds to manny's 4 with the knockdown and one round even.

    All in all i think the most difficult rounds to score are 1 and 7, I gave both to Pac but again, I can't argue with anyone giving those rounds to Marquez.

    In the end, I'm would understand if people think that JMM won it. The only thing I hate is those people who keep saying JMM schooled Pac in the 2nd fight or that JMM got robbed. It was a very very close fight and nobody schooled anyone...

    I dont see how anyone can justify giving Pacquiao any of those first 2 rds, they were basically 2 even rds, nothing in them at all except for a huge punch by JMM in both rds right at the end stunning Manny, those shots won the rd, especially since the rds were up for grabs at those points.

    Compubox cant measure the force of a punch tho, Marquez landed BY FAR the hardest punch of the rd right at the death to take the rd, no doubt at all in my mind, I dont know why people find it hard to score a winner in this rd or score it for Pac, crazy.
