I think this is not completely true. He's not really originally from Flyweight. He fought at flyweight, yes. But it's not like he has to bulk up to make BW. Guy came in several times just below the BW limit.
    It's not like he's jumping 3 weightclasses.
    I still favour Vic.

Agbeko will not want to stand flat footed in front of Vic because he'll end up broken and busted before round 4.

From what I've seen Agbeko is not agile enough to avoid Vic's power.

“King Kong will be playing second banana to the real star of Saturday night’s big event,” said Darchinyan, a native of Armenia who hails from Australia, already a two-division world champion. “Everyone knows I’m the top banana of this show. I’m the star because I’m the best. No matter how many times they remake “King Kong” the ending is always the same…it’s beauty that kills beast. And who’s more beautiful in the ring than I am?”

    Agbeko by KO.

Size difference might play a big factor here.

hes not the best till he avenges his loss against donaire. should he win against agbeko and wins the rematch against donaire in devastating fashion, his ****in resume will skyrocket

The top 10 P4P list has plenty of guys who don't have perfect records.

If Darchinyan has a better resume than Donaire by the time they both retire, then he is the better boxer. Donaire needs to prove that he can beat the same variety of champions to be considered as good - otherwise he can be written of as simply a stylistic mismatch for Vic. Consider Vince Phillips and Kostya Tszyu.

I suspect that Donaire can do it, once his promotors stop acting like dicks.

But claiming that Vic needs a rematch to prove his worth? Nah. It would help, sure. But he is doing fine without it.

A lot of haters keep saying things like Vic is nothing until and unless he rematches and beats Donaire. It just doesn't work that way.

Toney and Thadzi? Tszyu and Phillips? Pacman and Singsurat? It just doesn't work like that - and saying it does work like that kinda shows a person up as a hater not as a thinker.

I'm comparing the situation, boy. Yes, Clinton Mitchell beat Bernard Hopkins, but instead of avaging that loss, Hopkins went on doing bigger and better things. Now tell me... who is closer to HOF?

it was like bhops first fight, and clinton mitchell aint done ****, so its not a fair comparison.

better comparison would be tzsyu/mitchell, but at least that fight was pretty damn competitive until the 10th, compared to what donaire has shown against darchinyan.

lets hope that darchi will man up and gtfo of shaw and join gbp, so we could see a rematch in the near future
