So it looks like the 5th reigning world champion is lined up for Vic Darchinyan, the undisputed super flyweight champion of the world, who recently lost his bantamweight debut vs. Ghana's King Kong Joseph Agbeko. A certain boxing site heard the rumor that the Raging Bull might return vs. WBO super flyweight champion of the world, Jose Lopez, a ring veteran with 7 losses, but unbeaten in 18 fights and managed to knock down Montiel in his last loss. So no tune-up for Vic it seems.

    * If Darchinyan can hold his titles for this fight before being stripped, he could be only the 2nd fighter in the ABC titles history to hold all 4 organization belts at the same time. The only boxer so far who managed to fight for the WBC, WBA, WBO and IBF belts was Bernard Hopkins. *

Do I have to say - VIC IS A REAL WARRIOR.

Vic once again looked out for the toughest and most exciting fight possible, knowing it'll take a very special performance to come out on top. In a world controlled by greedy promoters, safety first fighters and the curse of the risk/reward ratio, Darchinyan is one little SOB who dare to do it OLD SCHOOL, go the fans way and look only for tough fights, titles and history - even if he's facing defeat at the odds.

He might be too brave for his own good here: King Kong Joseph Agbeko is for real, a very strong BW titleholder with a huge punches and underrated skills, not the type of world champion a fighter moving up usually faces.

But that's how warriors do. No matter how many times certain sore losers post a past video or what will happen on Saturday - Vic getting a knockout or getting knocked out - his heart has already won our everlasting fan support. Just take a look at his level of opposition and the others', and you'll notice (whether it makes you proud of jealous):

RAGING BULL VIC DARCHINYAN IS A REAL WARRIOR!

Vic is a legend! He's one of the very few fighters in boxing at the moment who will genuinely fight anyone.

I can't see him winning a rematch either. That's why I would rather see him have another 2-3 top level fights before the rematch. Firstly, it will give him a chance to grow as a fighter and make the rematch more even. Secondly, it will allow him to continue on his rampaging streak uninterrupted.

If he had rematched Donaire and lost again, would we have seen him fight Mijares or Arce? Probably not.

no diss to the flash but most are nonito-numnuts, straight up.

go post bigbone. viCs definitely gotta a true worrior mentality, heart & deminer. he's one those rare fighters that talk it, walk it and has a passion for beating people up. he's the 2nd most entertaining fighters to watch IMO.

i got viC over Agbeko. those looping wide hooks arent gonna catch viC with ease. watch viC give him different angles and fire that strait left down the pipe repeatedly as if kong owed him child support.

yeah agekos bigger and overall stronger, but he has the horrible tendency to square up dropping his hands during exchanges.. i wouldnt suprised if viC knocks him down simply cus hes off balance.. and i'm also skeptical of a clash of heads b/c both like bum rushing theyre opponents. either way im expecting more fireworks than the 4th of july.

    viC by KO

Yeah thats bull**** ay...his profile is slowly growing..but what more can he do?

Boxing just has a limited amount of media attention in Australia and 90% goes to Choc...a joke to say the least.

:goodYep, the bloke doesn't give a **** and is putting a lot of others to shame, IMO. Like him or not, boxing needs people like Darchinyan.
