I admit when I saw Eddie Chambers on the front page of the news this morning with the heading "Philly's Fighting Chance" I got a bit moved.

I am like a middle-aged spinster with PMS when watching my favourites, I have had a tear in my eye many a time. Roy Jones getting starched by Glen Johnson was the worse though. I love Glen as well, but to see Roy laid out like that was just awful.

When Brewster knocked out Wlad april 7th of 04. I predicted a Brewster victory after watching all the fights I had of them in my boxing library, and knew Brewster had the heart, power, and toughness to win. I admit, I was a little nervous early on, but when Brewster rocked Wlad with a stiff jab in the 3rd round, I knew he had a great shot at winning. Then when Brewster rocked Wlad with the hook, and Wlad backed up, I knew it was going to be over.

All my life I never was great at any sport, but I always tried to look up to the guys who were never the most talented on the field, court, or ring, but had heart and played the game tough and hard. Brewster proved that your oppenent can have you beat in every physical aspect, but if your mentally tougher and our willing to go all out, you will always stand a chance to win, no matter who you face.

In regards to brewster/wlad I. Brester did show great heart to hang in there and win, but Wlad didn't really get hit by anything. The guy lost his breath and paniced for some reason. It was very strange.

    :happy

5th round always leaves me shocked no matter how many times i watch it.

wasnt a part about that fight that wasnt emotional to watch, fighters guts, heart, tenacity, even sportsmanship. just the perfect fight.

There's a picture of him getting hit by a big left hook I believe, Wlad was tired, hurt, and mentally beat. He threw everything in his arsenal and Brewster was still standing, something no fighter was really able to do at that time. Wlad's panic attack in the 3rd round, Brewsters vicious body shots early in the fight, as well as the fact a 6'6 250 pound man blew his load for 5 rounds, all contributed to Wlads meltdown at the end of the fight.:deal

Moved when Pac KO'd Hatton. Moved when LL KO'd Tyson.

Moved when Hatton beat Tszyu and moved when the result to Benn v Eubank II was announced.

Other than the first two, all for different reasons.

I was pissed off like hell when Paulie didn't show up for the Hatton fight.

I almost wept tears of joy when watching Corrales/Castillo 1 for the first time. Quite taken back by the heart displayed by both combatants.

I held back the tears watching Marco get a whooping by Amir Khan...live. Damn.
