As a lifelong pugilist fan, I feel a sort of self-righteous indignation towards some fighters of alleged greatness. I'm talking about Floyd Mayweather. I don't like him, and never will. He knows he is not liked and that is good enough for me. Very few boxers can carry the precarious burden of being a "Great Fighter",and it isn't F.M. Without a fair measure of humility, you are nothing.

the guy jumps in and out of the sport like he does weight divisions i.e at his discretion and with as little effort as possible,he has to be one of the most overrated fighters ever.

I have to agree with this. Mayweather has taken the position of saying things to **** people off. He knows a lot of people want to see him lose, so he feeds them some BS. While he says he fights for checks, at the same time he says he's P4P and wants to reclaim his title as such.

Floyd is in all kinds of debt I'm sure. The guy wasn't interested in anything but fighting DLH his entire career.

It's always been about money. He doesn't really think he's the best fighter in thre sport. Just wants to hold on to his meal ticket: the O.

Exactly, which is why this stuff is so laughable. There is no mystery as to why Floyd fights.

Furthermore, probably 98% of fighters are "fighting for money". It's a ****ing job, an occupation. So many people don't seem to understand that. If there was no money, there'd be no boxing.
