    WBO spf titleholder in the mid-90s. Defended his belt succesfully 5 or 6 times, and then retired because of private circumstances. Only world title holder ever from the Netherlands as far as i recall.

    Regarding how good he was: no idea, i can never find any footage of this guy.

    I remember him. He was pretty tough and gave good fights.

    He KO'd Kelcie Banks in the 1988 Olympics who was one of the USAs big hopes in that Games.

    Ah my fellow Dutchman Tuur:good I read his biography 2 years ago or so.

    For Dutch standards he was obviously good. But he was pretty chinny.

    He trained at Gleason's along with Kevin Kelly after his KO of Kelcey.
