If JMM can carry the weight well than Floyd is in for a tough fight but JMM doenst have the genetics and frame to carry the weight as well as Pacquiao.

I agree, he could have gotten a cake-walk fighter to tune up. IMO, JMM isn't a fighter to take lightly. I can actually see him pulling this one out. It's a long shot, but he can do it.

Imagine the war that would between him and Pac if it came down that? Pac vs JMM III.

I give credit to Mayweather for picking JMM.

**** aff, Marquez is no-one's tune-up. You may think it is, good for you, but it just isn't. If Floyd goes into the bout thinking it's a tune-up, he will be in a whole world of pain at the hands of a brave and brilliant Mexican technician. But Floyd, unlike you, is too smart for that sort of stupid attitude. He'll be at his absolute best because he knows he will have to be.

    This thread sucks anus.

A tune up isn't suppose to win and Marquez will be taking this fight to Mayweather! Marquez SD!

From the start I considered this fight a tune up:

    - Floyd coming from a long lay-off.
    - Floyd has all the advantages over JMM.
    - Floyd is 4 to 1 favorite to defeat JMM.
    - Floyd got 80% ($15M) of the purse to JMM's 20% ($3.75M).
    - This is a tune up fight. A mismatch fight.

Tho upsets once in a while do happened in tune up fights, even then I only gave JMM a 0.01% chance of winning...

JMM can effectively capitalize on mistakes done by an agressive boxer like PAC but PBF is not known as an aggressive boxer... PBF is a counterpuncher like JMM and is the better counterpuncher of the two... Be ready for a boring tactical chess match tune up fight between 2 master counterpunchers...

If Floyd didn't get cold feet, we would have seen this fight soon... now we gotta wait til Marquez ages more...

Better than JMM?, doubt it. We don't know how JMM will perform moving up, fighting there can only prove it. A while ago the majority talked like they know how Pac will do moving up and it was the complete opposite.

Yep, 2 more months of JMM's career to soften him up. Let's face it, Marquez gets old but Mayweather doesn't.

I agree, JMM is defo gonna use Mayweather for a springboard match w/Pacquiao.
(Inactive 32 year old, bad hands 2 year layoff Mayweather Jr. is in for a beating)

    Good tune-up for JMM.
