Anyone who is impartial has to think Mayweather is a SURE favorite, right?

The whole thing with Hatton that I wonder about..is what is he going to do on the outside...I mean he has 0 outside game ..he HAS to smother guys to win..and his holding is frequent and used as a tactic to not get beaten up on the outside....I just think floyd will bring the fight where hatton dont want to be and when Hatton tries to clinch a backing up mayweather he will get tagged and floyd will get away and if hatton gets tired which HE DOES...he is toast.

I mean at least the hatton fight with castillo was entertaining I mean you had the atmopshere and one of those sickening shots. He LOOKS like you possibly could include him in the discussion - but there's really no convincing counter arguments for him. You can't say BASED ON xyz that he did, then I think.. like you can with Hearns, SRL etc.

He has done nothing at welterweight to convince me he should be part of that discussion. Nor at light welter either to be honest.

kostya and ricky fought in june of 2005. tszyus last bout was in november of 2004 where he impressively demolished sharmba mitchell in three rounds.

Well, venue DOES matter in this case. Had this fight been in Manchester I'd have closed the book on a Mayweather win long ago.

Ricky Hatton is going to have some difficulty I think playing by the rules in Nevada. They will basically ensure that he cannot smother Floyd. We see it all the time, which is a constant break of the action/distance by the ref.

This is all business by Mayweather and he knows what he is doing. Hatton's best chance is to fight off of his chest, smother anything Mayweather can do and pound him out.

I just don't see the Nevada officials letting him do that. That said, I'll go with the upset anyways. Hatton IS faster than DLH and will jump in and get Mayweather where DLH couldn't. Even if the ref constantly breaks them up I like Hatton's chances at getting in and landing clean before that happens.
