Getting a beating in sparring is going to still be weighing on Chambers's mind. Plus Chambers is at a big disadvantage already against Wladimir, he can't compete with the size, power, or jab of Wladimir. I think Chambers wil work hard to be the best he can be, but that will only let Chambers go an extra couple rounds in the process. Klitschko TKO 7
I SEE it as most will discredit Wlad for fighting chambers even though its a mand. I can hear it now "Wlad cherry picked a weaker guy in Chambers":roll:nutnut:nut
Let's not plump Eddie up just yet, the guy got beaten handily by Povetkin, lets see him attempt to avenge that before he goes thinking about Wlad.
So you´re from Wlad-camp, then off course this must be true. :blood And even if it´s true. Chambers has improved a lot since.
Tony Thompson landed more punches on Wlad than anyone, including the guys who actually beat him. Thompson is the opposite of Chambers, a good reach and knowing how to use it is more effective against Wlad than polished skills from an undersized fighter.
Chambers impressed me a lot against Dimitrenko. Not that Dimitrenko is in Wlad´s class, but it was amazing how Chambers was able to get to a much bigger opponent and made him fight his game, especially as Dimitrenko is somewhat mobile for his size. Actually Thompson is much more like Klitschko than Dimitrenko, cause he is better in fighting tall. Would be interesting to see if Chambers can bring the fight to Thompson too. Would be high risk, low reward though, especially as Eddie has the fight against Wlad in his pockets.
I think so too. As much as I like Chambers, who impressed me against Dimitrenko I don´t think he stands a chance.
Chambers fought great against Dimitrenko. Picked his shots. Fought intelligently. Good defense. He was so much better than in the Peter fight. Chambers needs to go after Valuev.
