IMO this supermiddle tourney ain't happening

    one thing about tourneys is that injuries can **** everything up so easily.

    Bute wanted to fight Andrade in Montreal on Showtime but he lost the purse bid to Golden Boy promotions. Not his fault.

    Judging by all the signs thus far- Froch saying Dirrell is next then Kessler and everyone involved being free including Kessler now minus Palle- then I think the future of this tourny looks promising. Who knows in boxing though?!

    I agree; this is too good to be true. I can't see the likes of Sauerland trying to do anything other than line their own pockets by sheltering their fighters as usual.. In any case, all the fighters have other interests to pursue than this tournament. Froch is looking for a direct shot at Bute or Kessler; Bute and Andrade are looking for each-other; I'm not sure if Ward is looking to jump in at the deep end quite yet. Kessler doesn't really have any need for these fights; he's the main man in the division and has a mando in any case. The only fighter that I think would go for this would be JT, who's desperate as a plum right now
