Was Mosley behind before scoring a late KO vs Mayorga ???

I had Mayorga up by a round. But then again, I need to watch it again because it was a close fight.

 

The official scorecards had Shane ahead.

 

Officially he was ahead on 2 scorecards.

It appeared to me that Mosley was winning, but I wasn't watching that carefully and scoring it.

 

Mosley scored a KD right before the KO so that 10-8 would've been enough to win the fight anyway.

 

I had mayorga up in this. Mosley flukes it.

 

This win can't be defined as a fluke. It's boxing and you have to fight a full 12 rounds.

was a awkward fight for shane due to mayorgas size and strange behavior and shane's timing was a bit off.....but shane was 1 point ahead before the knock down then the KO
hard fight to score watch it back a few times.

 

Definitly down on the cards(or should have been). SHane looked like **** that night.

For what its worth, Compubox had Mayorga landing at a 7% clip if I remember correctly.

 

Not at all it was close but Shane was ahead by atleast 2 points before the 12th started. Mosley was only hit about 10 percent of the time by Mayorga all the clean and effective shots where from Mosley. Mayorga just used his 170 pounds to clinch on Shane and hit him on breaks and do alot of rabbit punching or just cry that hes been fouled. Mayorgas akwardness gave Mosley difficulty but it was never beating Mosley.
