No 100% true. Lucy Bute is prefering to accept less money and fight on an undercard than to top the bill in the Uk v Froch for a larger purse. Some fighters just don't have the balls to be great and prefer to operate within their comfort zone.

Good point to the author, but slightly ironic detailing what a world champion should be about, when your showcasing a cement loving cheat on your avatar.

So he should fight for a country that when he came from the Olympic games with a gold medal,he went into a resturaunt but they didn´t want to server him because he was black?Would you server such a country?A country that calls you a N*****,****** etc.?A country full of people that hate you? Please you don´t even know how his position was,and now you call him a coward or a *****.Maybe you are just jealous that he stood up for himself.

This is a good point. Also, its been proven over and over again that it is damn near impossible to get a fair shake in alot of Countries. A foregin fighter can come to America and we very rarely see any bias. But go to another Country and you never know what will happen. Look what happened to Chambers last weekend as an example, sure he won, but one judge scored it a draw? Also look what happened when Andade fought Bute in Canada, they gave him a 20 count and he survived the fight. Those are just 2 examples of many.

I mostly agree with that. That said, for me Pacman-JMM II was a dodgy decision and obviously people will always remember Lewis-Holyfield I for the decision in that fight. Also, the John-Juarez fight was another recent example. Aside from a few decisions, American judges seem honest and fair enough, though.

Like I say, I think the main point is that America has proven beyond any doubt that it is boxing's home. As a similar example: Football (sometimes called soccer) players always want to play and need to play in Europe to enhance their revenue and legacy. It's quite literally 'the place to be' in the sport. The only boxers who don't travel for fights, IMO, are either Americans (because they don't need to travel) or people who want to keep advantages and, in some cases, records. You can fight at home to build your legacy but if you want to make it big, you have to fight in America, IMO.

I guess Dick Cheney is also a non-American, since he had FIVE deferments to get out of Vietnam.

lol. More 'patriots' that don't understand that standing up TO your country is just as important as standing up FOR your country. If some moron decides to embroil your nation in a war it shouldn't be in, it is your duty to take to the streets and make your voice heard. THAT is what makes FREE countries great.
