    Miranda before he fought AA and Pavlik was a beast. Ward beat a Miranda coming off 2 brutal knockouts. Pavlik knocked him out in 7 and AA killed him in 4 rounds. The Miranda Ward fought was not half the fighter he was before the brutal knockouts he suffered from.

    I give ward a solid shot at pulling off. Trust me I'm far from blinded by Kesslers standard solid technical game, I believe he has difficulty ad******g so if ward throws him off he can get the win.

    Tough to bet against the "Son of God" lol, but I like his chances in the tourney. I don't think he will beat Kessler, but I like his chances against Taylor and Dirrell, and with those two wins that should put him in the semifinals.

    I feel the same way. Kessler is a beast though, I just think Ward has the tools to do it, at least wewill know for sure in Nov this year :good

    I think Ward will certainly possess the skills to trouble Kessler. Wouldn't surprise me if he DID beat him. If Ward does his best poor man's Calzaghe impression, improves in his inside fighting a bit and gets some help with Kessler being rusty, he could take it.

    I just hear PPL saying Ward has no shot. I dont understand that, I do think Kessler is better but to say Ward has shot at all is just nuts
