Id say so...rematch Donaire or at least only have one more defense of his undisputed crown, then fight Nonito.

But if he cant make the weight..maybe rematch King Kong..Id like to think Vic is capable of a better performance then that but the fact is he likes to do things his way and when they dont work he really doesnt have a hell of a lot else.
I think he had fought a hell boring fight just jabbing and moving he would have been better off then lunging in and getting caught with that right all night...but I guess thats not his style.

I was kind of pulling for a King Kong ko in that last round because I put $10 on him to stop Vic because it was paying so well..so not only did Vic lose, I didnt get my payout.

I actually was thinking yesterday that he kind of has a shot against Dunne @ 122...Thats maybe an option I guess.

So would Marquez to probably..Both Shaw fighters, both Showtime fighters..both of their stocks are down. If Marquez has anything left he will destory Vic but that could be a good cash out fight for Darchinyan.

i wouldnt bury the man yet... he admitted it himself... he fought a stupid fight. king kong took away his lead left and he failed to adapt. he did none of the things he worked on in the arce, mijares fights... he regressed. when he did land, agbeko took as well as he gave. i think kk won clearly, but vic has proven he can bounce back from worse defeats. i think he should take a couple routine defenses and then we could talk about donaire... i agree w al bernstein, if agbekpo had a better left hook he would have got the ko... and we know nonito has that.

I like watching Darchinyan fight, but his performance tonight was disappointing. Where was the guy who looked tremendous against Mijares and Arce? He looked "out of synch" most of the night, and he was eating those Hopkins-esque lead right hands like they were going out of style. Not a good night for Darchinyan. He's bounced back strong from a loss before. I suspect that he will again.

I don't think Bantam is the way for him to go. Agbeko frustrated him with his head movement and his footwork and that is not a good sign.

Vic did land some solid punches that would have hurt people lower weight classes but Agbeko seemed unaffected.

But his weight says he's suited for bantam... He's bigger than Kong... At weigh-in, Darchi was 117.5 while Kong was only 116.5... On fight night, Darchi is 127 lbs. while Kong is only 121 lbs...

Vic is too sloppy to fight a fighter with the skill lever of Marquez. I have to admitt that I thought that Vic would carry more power to the wieght, but his punches had no effect on this kid, however I also think that Agbeko maybe about as strong a fighter that is at the weight. It was a very sloppy fight neither guy looked good, but maybe it was because of the styles. Vic should move back down but he should also stay away from Donaire, its a fight that he just cant win.

Shaw could do what he said... "Beg like a dog" to Donaire though.

Vic is definetely a force at bantamweight, he just lost a close fight against arguably the man of the division.

He could start doing a Pacman and demand fights at catch weights.
