i've been thinking about it and maybe i'm getting the wrong impression here but in my opinion...that guy is past his prime...big time! i think it already was the case when he fought Barnett... Nogueira was just unlucky to live in an era where he had to confront a prime fedor. that guy wasted all of nog's best years. + that feeling was reconfirmed when i saw him in the ufc against Heath Herring. ( and keep in mind that this was nog's 3rd fight against heath...herring could've beaten him that night if only he would ve continued with a g&p session after the HK).
Nog has a lot of wear and tear on him. He's like Erik Morales in boxing. Age isn't always the only determining factor. Being in a lot of wars and taking a lot of damage can make a fighter in any sport old beyond their years. Being half-blind probably doesn't help either.
Nah no way. Today's nog might have better stand up "skills" but he's not what he used to be in other departments. You can see he is worn down IMO, just like CC.
Very sad to see.Dana took what names he wanted and disposed of the rest.All the quality mainstays are either fighting for smaller orgs or simply arent fighting at all.
I still think he can win the title while I don't believe he is in his prime he is by no means washed up I believe he will win the title I think he can beat Couture he'll either sub him from the bottom or he'll sweep Randy and pound him out. Although I don't believe he'll have a long title reign. I gotta keep the faith with Nog look at my name. WAR MINOTAURO.
