I think it would be a much closer fight than people here are saying (and I'm a big Calzaghe fan). Bute's reach, height and ability to stand beyond range could potentially cause difficulties for Calzaghe.
Bute doesn't throw enough punches for me. He's more defensive and whenever I've seen Calzaghe against a more defensive fighter, he's swarmed them and comfortably won.
You're quite possibly correct. Sadly we'll never know for sure. We may yet get to see Froch smash the **** out of Bute if he gets past Andrade tho :happy

You are wrong. I give chance to Froch. YOU give no chance to Bute, like Froch is a boxing genius. If you can't see who is the better boxer between the 2 than i can't help you. Better boxer doesn't always win so yes, i give Froch some chances.
ive have never said froch is a boxing genius.....he is a throwback fighter who fights with heart and will fight anyone.you have not seen the best of froch yet.bute has a chance to beat froch but he will have to be on his toes and tie froch up if bute gets in to a toe to toe war froch will bust him up....
