Vitali KO in 3 rounds. Haye defense, and chin are average at best. Not the best formula to beat Vitali.

Nice to see there are others here who take the time to make this important correction. Those blue and yellow flags that wave at Klitschko fights are Ukrainian flags. In addition to boxing, Vitali is on the Kiev city council and will likely run for mayor of the Ukrainian capital in the near future.

As well as Klitschko did against Lennox Lewis, who was an immediate HOF inductee his first year of eligibility, it's amazing to think that people would have faith in anyone's ability to power him out of a fight.

That being said, barring a pre-fight injury, Haye is in deep crapola.

Haye sees birdies in round 4.

I think that Haye is one of the few boxers who has a chance against Vitali. He has to be aggressive, move in, maybe jab, jab and then throw his wild haymakers, get out and hope that he tagged Vitali good. Use his speed as his biggest weapon. He HAS TO put Vitaly down in the first 3 rounds. That is the only receipe which will work against Vitali.

If Vitali can survive the first three rounds without getting hurt bad, the longer the fight
goes the better he ll get. After (maximum) round 4 Vitali would have figured out Haye as a fighter and then Haye should be prepared to slip into the role of Sanders. He should also by then order his corner to get the ambulance ready cause he will need it.

    :)

There is a slight chance that Vitali is getting old quickly. He was a bit slower in the Peter and Gomez fights than earlier in his carrer and seemed to gas a bit. But that chance is about 5%.

That is the only hope Haye has got, that Vitali has grown old.

I just have to correct you on one part, did you see the Brewster-Wlad fight?!?!? Wlad was by faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar the agressor in the fight, with the exception of the last minute of the fight... Brewwy still won, but he wasnt the agressor the entire fight. I've never seen the entire Puritty fight, but from what i hear it was fairly similar!!

Haye has the tools and speed to fight smart, but that's not in his nature. He's too reckless and against a bigger guy with a good chin, I don't see it going to well.

Unless Vitali's body is worn out and rusty I see him stopping Haye. Vitali will be able to take what Haye dishes out, and fire back a bit too. Haye will eventually start to slow down and then Vitali takes over. Haye's beard isn't strong enough to stand up to the onslaught and he gets stopped.

I hope I'm wrong. I want Haye to win, but this is a bad match up for him.

Jab with VK? VK have the best timing among heavyweights right now, bar none. You can't jab with him, it's a lethal mistake - he will catch you with counter from below using left hand, the counter you won't even see until it's landed. The only way, only way to Haye to win is to rush in and try to put VK down from a start. I still see it very unlikely because I didn't see VK as much as wobbled and still remember that LL's uppercut that would probably send most of heavyweights down for few minutes. Bottom line - VK by KO in second half.

BTW, related to OP. Why people call VK boring? Dude KOd all his opponents except TH, and 2 fights he lost I really liked. He is fighting machine, with heavy hands and mean look. Do you want to see 2 HW dancing aroung? Lile WK vs. Ibragimov? I rather see VK putting someone down...

Once Haye feels the concussive power of Vitali's jab it'll straighten him up 4 the R/H BIG BANG then it's TIMBERRRRR. I really hope not:nono

I'll be there in Frankfort with a bizz class seat ticket which allows me 2 get glagged on free German beer & Champagne + all that classy quality deutsch fanny, not bad compo:smoke but pigs may fly & Haye sparks him:smoke

Hayes bedtime comes early that night, inside 7 rounds! Klit to big, to strong, and to much chin for David Hype to handle, his wild swings wont help here.. against Wlad he had a punchers chance, against Vitali he have nothing!
