I'm sure that I remember you saying before the Lacy fight that Calzaghe lacked the chin and would be beaten. I must be mistaking you for someone else then.

Zakman, stick to the trailer trash boxing. The real thing is beyond your understanding.

Haven't you heard? He's been watching boxing before we were even born. That automatically makes him more knowledgeable than us. Really.

Who said he was the second coming of Oscar De La Hoya? All most of us are saying is that he obviously took the time to address some issues and patch up some holes in his game. His defense has gotten better, he's moving better, and he looks like he's genuinely trying to follow a smart gameplan each time out now.

And you continually ignore good/sensible posts, while only responding to posts from guys who state the obvious (EX: Yup, Khan will get knocked out again). It's like you see what you want to see. Most posters in this thread aren't nuthuggers. We're just boxing fans giving the guy credit for winning a world title against a quality opponent.

Get the **** out of the General Forum. And take your friend Rico with you.

Seriously, you are. I was breaking the balls of all the little kiddies getting googly eyed over Lacy's physique. It was one of the more ridiculous things I have seen in the lead up to the fight. I wasn't 100 percent sure Calzaghe would win, but I knew Lacy was overrated and unproven.

I knew taking a lot of punches could make you punch drunk, but I didn't realize watching a lot of them could do the same.

Maybe so, but you can only avoid getting his on a glass chin for so long. And furthermore, Kotelnik obviously didn't have the punching power necessary to do the job - much like all the handpicked feather-fisted journeymen Khan fought prior to Prescott.

Seriously, there is a REASON that his handlers matched him with guys who have 30 percent and often much lower KO percentages. They will continue to do this as long as they can get away with it. They know what's gonna happen when that glass jaw gets cracked again.

Agreed. I always wonder why boxers like Floyd Mayweather got trained so hard on their defence. Great boxer - or protecting a terrible chin? Skills are no doubt highlighted on weaknesses and strengths.

Klitsch brothers - really long arms - jab.

Calzaghe - glass hands - build wins on volume of lighter punches.

Pac-man - soul of a Tazmanian Devil - hit 'em with anything like a whirling ball of fury...

    :dead

Again, no one is saying he doesn't have a glass chin. A lot of posters are just giving the man props for fighting a good fight and protecting his glass chin well enough to not get laid out cold.

"Dare to point out Khan's china chin?" Wow, you act as if saying that Khan having a glass chin takes some sort of boxing genius who isn't afraid to go against everyone else. New flash genius: almost everyone agrees he doesn't have a good chin, they just already accept it and are willing to talk about the other aspects of his boxing.

Seriously, if Khan wins 2 of the next 3 fights and happens to get starched in the 3rd, I think we all know how you'll react

1st fight - "He may have won but he still has a china chin, he'll get starched next time, just you wait!"

2nd fight - "He's always matched against light punchers, but he still has a china chin, he'll get starched next time, just you wait!"

3rd fight - "I knew he was a glass jawed joke! He got laid out cold! lololol!!! :rofl:rofl:rofl:lol::lol::rofl:rofl"

And if that's all we're getting from you then maybe I already save you a lot of time for posting the only thing you keep saying.

Fine, but some of these people are going nuts, hyping this guy like he would beat Marquez and other great fighters. With THAT chin??:patsch Puh-leez!

Khan beat a guy who was just like all his early opponents, a very light hitter with a low KO percentage to show for it. Sure, he was a much better fighter, but still lacking the ONE quality that is Khan's kryptonite - punching power.

Oh, and please stop making my future Khan posts before the time is right. No wine before it's time, tut-tut!

Zakman what round did you have that weak puncher KOing Kahn again.
For someone who was so convinced he would spark out Kahn you seem to have changed your tune. Nothing like contradicting yourself hey.
You keep supplying the bullets and ill bring the gun.
Some people just do all the hard work for you. :)
