I have yet to see Fury in any kind of shape. He was out of shape for his debut and has been since. He is young and should find it easy to lose the lard, it will only get worse as he gets older ( trust me ). The fight was dull. But the Homer Simpson analogy made it worth it.

IT was pretty funny when they said a couple of times that Selezens was similar to Mcdermott.

And how long has Fury been fighting? He is not and should not be ready to fight Klitschkos!!! Damn, give him a break.

Best summation so far. Fury did the job but needs to improve and focus.

Anyone still disagree that putting Fury in with Oliver McCall at this point in time would be utter madness?

Fury made a comment that he was going to be in 100% better shape for his next fight, he seems to keep claiming this and never follows through. He needs to get more serious about the game.

Problem for Fury is that he is a marketable fighter which whilst brings you fame and wealth can also hinder you somewhat.

You dont really have to tough it out at any point as your opponent is not meant to win or even give you a good fight.

His size, name, record and AGE along with the hype makes him attractive for people to jump on the bandwagon....but really we are yet to see a top class performance from him and if what he says is true that he struggles to find sparring partners then his best bet is to go to Germany at the universium gym or America boxing hotbeds of Las Vegas, New York, LA or miami where he is sure to find proper tough fighters who will give him things to worry about.

He also needs to hire a top class nutritionist, strentgh and conditiong coach to comebat the Body fat and help him improve coordination and posture.

All in all he really needs proper scientific top class attention rather than an amatuer set up around him.

Becuase what will happen is.......he will meet a proper fight who knock him out brutally as he is so open to big counters.

Is it your life's mission to post that bloody picture in as many threads as possible? I've seen it in, I'm sure, 4 or 5 today and only one of them was about Fraudley

On a day when we celebrate the 40th anniversay of putting man on the moon, your mission does really seem to have a certain lack of genius about it... :think

Yep, that's my feeling on him too, he needs the proper people to make the most of his obvious natural advantages.

There is simply zero excuse for Fury to lack discipline and/or motivation so early on in his pro career. Absolutely none.
The pudding has even been given a silver spoon from the start of career and lauded on terrestrial TV above pros with dozens of fights.
He's full of talk about not getting good enough sparring partners in the UK (Try going into Sheffield/Hartlepool/Darlo/Manchester gyms and shouting that!) and states noone wants to fight him! He's quickly sinking in his own (and ITV'S) hype. All pros can see how succeptible Fury is to counters. He would have a chance at a decent career if he ignored all the fools who blow smoke up his arse and started getting motivated and dedicated as he's young enough to develop into a good fighter. HE'S JUST NOT ATHLETIC. Did you see him try to do tuck jumps? Embarassing!
My prediction is that he'll swagger about and mouth himself into a British title shot then get horribly embarrassed. Hardly surprising when you see who his Dad is, the family seem intent on rewriting history and glory hunting rather than knuckling down and learning the trade.
To lack motivation or discipline in Fury's early and fortunate position is a big warning marker to the lad himself and stunningly arrogant.

You do realise he was injured all the way up to the fight and including the fight?

Bollocks. Convenient spin to cover the poor display. This is business. If the boxer was injured in any way that hindered his chances of fighting they would have pulled the fight or postpone it.
And I'm judging him since I saw him at the ABA's and his pro fights combined. The guy is not an athlete. He's not even in the same class as pro novice David Price. Fury is a big guy with fast hands and the "Tyson" gimmick. Poor hand positioning when defending and he thinks leaning back from a punch with his head is a defensive move! Price on the other hand is a big lad who is athletic, tucks his chin in and can bang on the front foot and back foot. If Tyson Fury was called Fred Smith he'd not be prime time on ITV. It just boils my water when so many boxing fans buy into the hype cause he's on telly and winning his first few fights comfortably.:bbb
