Can you tell me why any welterweight would even think about fighting Paul Williams???? TO get what???? Belt???? Money???? Fame????....... Most feared????? Margarito got his big break AFTER losing to Williams. Shane got his shot at Margarito ONLY because he was the best money option, NOT because he was a mando or because he came off a big win. Now everyone is running after Pac the JR welter champ.

Williams best option is to make it in a division NOT controlled by promoters. I think 154 is his best bet. Try to unify there and then dump the unimportant belts. He wont get his money up all that much but his name will grow and thats a start.

It's strange to see the hate for Williams he's tall, durable, has a freakish reach, and throws over a 1000 punches a fight. He beat Margarito at his own game, dominated Winky he's willing to fight in 3 different weight class at the same time. Not being a KO puncher I guess makes the amazing things he's doing meaningless and himself less marketable than he should be.
