If Kessler does plenty of sparring, I like him to win this one.

First 4 rounds or so will be even, ward may even take a slight lead. As the fights progresses, ward will be taken into deep waters he has never been in before and will lose a clear decision or be stopped late on. He is a bit too green for Kessler, but i admire his balls for taking on this tournament, have nothing but respect for him.

It depends on the shape Kessler shows up with. Old Kessler with his usual extreme workrate, still good power when he commits, good precision, and generalship, should win this comfortably easy.

However, if we see a slightly ringrusty version of Kessler, slower, lower workrate, with ribcage and hand problems, this can be a long night for him.

The "Kessler ducking Miranda" and "only fights at home" should be over for now please !. Ones again Kessler travel abroad to fight. In the first fight, he takes on an Olympic gold medalist and upcommer in his backyard. This time it is a US-fighter so for ones give Kessler credit for that.

Ward could actually trouble Kessler, maybe even beat him. He may have the best chance out of everyone...

I'm usually confident with my predictions, but this one is tough.

    I'll go for Ward UD.

Ward has never faced someone with the accuracy and skill of Kessler, and has been dropped and hurt by lesser opponents in the past. His chin is questionable if Kessler can land which it seems likely he will

Beating Miranda doesn't prove much of anything. Miranda was dismantled and destroyed in his previous two fights against quality opposition, the guy is done and was never anything special in the first place

Kessler fighting Calzaghe will help him in this fight. He can learn from the mistakes he made in that fight in preparation for this one. He lost clearly but did not get whitewashed or embarrassed by any means. And Ward is no Calzaghe

My god, you guys are just too naive! First of all Kessler have never and will never show up for a fight out of condition. You guys, just give Ward to much credit and for what....? Ward will be knocked out before 7 round! Kessler is just to strong and clever for the young boy!
