Alot of those guys with undefeated records have shitty ass records Chris John is a fighter with a very good record but relatively speaking he is basically a nobody.
He may have meant Israeli heavyweight prospect Roman Greenberg, who had a puffed-up 27-0 record before Cedric Boswell popped his cherry a year ago (he hasn't been heard from since). Foreman, who is currently 27-0 himself, actually has a very legitimate resume.
JD Chapman (29-0, best win vs. Rich Boruff) Faruq Saleem (38-0, best win vs. 21-11 Otis Tisdale) George Tahdooahnippah (18-0, best win vs. 49-17 Johnathan Corn) Donnell Holmes (31-0, best win vs. 14-3 Stacy Frazer, but faces Brian Minto in a few weeks) Malik Scott (32-0, best win vs. 34-7 Raphael Butler) Chonlatarn Piriyapinyo (30-0, best win vs. 9-8 Jonel Alivio)
Well Greenberg fed on nothing but tomato cans until the Boz fight - and he only stopped 18 out of 27. At one point they were talking about matching him up with Tua! atsch
Chavez Jr-ason of a legend with unbeaten record but still a nobody? Chris John-beat jmm but still a nobody? Edwin Valero- overrated boxer who beat nobodies but ducks elites?
A lot of people are saying JMM got robbed in that fight so I guess he didn't really beat JMM. As for Valero, although I agree some people here overhype him, he hasn't really had a chance to step up the level of competition given that the only place where he as a license to box in the US is texas, and that was pretty recent (just in time for the Pitalua fight). Hope the Soto-Valero fight is true though, good chance for Valero to show if he's more than a youtube hypejob.
JMM was "robbed" in that fight, maybe true but it's also jmm's fault in not stepping up his fight with cjohn, and it's a homecrowd for cjohn too. Chris John has a good record but has to fight better opposition or else move up. Valero? a fight with Soto will be his redemtion from critics.
