Yeah I saw that fight. Hunt blasts Fedor in the back of the head, then Fedor came back and nearly tore his arm off. Lesnar is heavy but one dimensional. Fedor can beat him standing or on the ground. And Fedor would go for things on the ground Lesnar hasn't even seen yet.

i don't think lesnar has the experience to beat fedor so unless lesnar gets a lucky punch and ko's fedor i cant c him winning

    Brock respects Fedor

here's what he said a couple days ago

When asked if he would accept a fight versus Emelianenko, Lesnar indicated he would like several more fights before that challenge, but if the fight were offered immediately, “Absolutely!”

Tougher fight than most expect. I see Brock being ok with Fedor on their feet, Brock's long reach and power giving Fedor something to worry about. Brock takes Fedor down and handles him on the ground pretty well for the first 2 rounds. Brock also secures a takedown in the 3rd, but is slowing, growing exhausted of holding Fedor down and pounding away. Brock while trying to take a quick rest lays his arm on Fedor in the wrong manner... Fedor rotates his hips out, and wins by Armbar in the 3rd. Fedor's face is pretty nicked up after the fight.

Brock winning by cuts stoppage wouldn't be out of the question. You have to remember that Brock is just going to keep improving. His size, wrestling, power, surprising quickness, and athleticism are going to be tough for anyone to handle.

It would not be easy, but I doubt Brock would be able to control Fedor on the ground and do anywhere near as much damage as has been seen with previous oponents. I think Brock will get a few take downs.

I also disagree Widdow, Brock will not want to stand with Fedor. I see at some point Brock making a mistake and getting subed. But if Fedor was to get top position Brock would be in some serious trouble, Fedor would do serious damage.

I see it a pretty close fight, its not the blowout some think.

  8. Perhaps I'm ignorant(which i am, dont worry about that) but i am not excited about this at all and dont see why brock should have the privlidge fighting fedor. I don't respect brock at all

I see Lesnar as some big athletic guy who decided he wanted try out fighting like 2 years ago after pro wrestling/football.

I see Fedor as having over 12 World Combat Sambo World Titles, Success as a Judo World Champion, demolition of easily over 15 MMA world champions (some more than once) and almost all with ease and all together with pretty much an unbeaten record of 30 fights.

I really don't like this hype. it's uncalled for and not logical. Yeah I admit, if Brock threw one of his punches it could knock Fedor out. But why would he have the right to **** with a legand like Fedor? it's liek soulja boy dancing next to MJ

  9. and lmao at peoples breakdown of Lesnars fighting style. the mans only had 5 fights. i dont think he even knows how he fights yet.

The fedor we have all seen would most likely be too savage like for Brock, deffo see Brock taking him down but without taking a vast quantity of punches.

I see Fedor stomping on Brock and hitting him all over eventually for the ref to call a stoppage via 2nd round.

Having just rewatched Lenar vs Coture, Fedor could well **** Brock up pretty baldy.

The whole thing comes down to timing of the fight aswell.

I mean there was just small little sign of Fedor not showing that huge animalistic like quality in the Arlovski fight.

Mind you im of the opinion that Fedor didnt think much of Arlovski and knew deep down he could beat him with ease hence the lack of intensity from him.

We shall see anyhow.......Brock needs to keep developing and im sure he will.

It would be nice for Fedor get a few more guys on his ledger......Lesnar, Overrem, Barnett.

Then he would have basically 90 per cent of the very very best beaten in his sport over the last decade.

according to the latest rumors (which i am not holding my breath for) fedor may be signed with the ufc as early as friday. i honestly dont think brock is intimidated and why should he be? fedor is a great champion possibly even the greatest mma fighter of all time. brock has absolutly freakish talents also in size, strength, speed, and agility. i dont think this fight would be the walk in the park for fedor that everyone is predicting. in mma any one fighter can lose to another at any given time it just takes one punch. Brock isa beast in his own right just like fedor is, fedor is heavy favorite in this fight but brock isnt a child about to get a whipping

If Fedor does come to the UFC and get's brock in his first fight, do any of you imagine the change to a cage will have any meaningful effect on the fight?
