That sound what comes of that left hook smashing Austin FAce did you know that they use it in movies as a Sound Effect of a punch landing some one's Face:yep:p

it is not from hitting body of dead pig, it is from hitting doomed Austin. 8)

Wladimir has serious power. He has one punch KO power but we rarely see him really try to hit people these days. He now knocks them out with the cumulative effect of his jab.

But to say he has ATG power? I dunno. Most heavies can bang. Wlad's speed and accuracy makes him seem extra devastating, but he may not hit as hard as a lot of other heavies - they just miss more often and so Wlad does more overall damage in comparison.

I give you 5 minutes to name 20 boxers in the HW division who hit harder otherwise you're just a hater.

Top 10, maybe top 5. He is up there with the best. He can end a fight in every second of every round.

I think he punches harder as well , but he doesnt have the accuracy and the amount of punches that Tyson would hit with . Its a different thing .
Also tyson would seem to hit hard often , where as Wlad seems to rarely punch hard . His dam jabberwalking .

i think right now i'd rank him in the top 20, not sure where. he might be top 10 by the end of his career. it's hard to argue as almost everyone he's hit clean, he's knocked out. there are a few exceptions (brewster 1st fight) but most of the time it's lights out.

Guys, he's around 245lbs, very little body fat.
He also had great technique, and great speed.

    Force = mass x acceleration.

Putting aside all the biased views that go both ways,
Wlad is going to be near, or at, the top of any list.

Roach trained a depleted Tyson. Prime for prime there is no comparison.

Wlad probably falls inside the top 20 for punching power but Tyson was top 3 in his day.

yes, BUT punching power is never calculated that simply. he's a fantastic puncher to be sure but he's far bigger, with much better technique than shavers, foreman, and marciano not he doesn't hit harder. there's that something magic that hitters are just born with: wlad has it, but so did smaller fighters with **** technique

his power is kinda overrated...just look at the guys he was ko'ing with those one punches or even a jab... i dont think he would have necessarily been doing that to say mccall, chuvalo, foreman, etc...

    i'd rate his power at a B

Wlad can probably hit as hard as Tyson, but it's a slower punch with more thud and less snap.

but u get the idea man... do u think tyson/lewis/frazier would of had a problem knockin out chambers, thompson, peter, brewster in any shorter fashion??... im not saying the guy (wlad) dont got power... but all i'm sayin is look at the guys he was knockin out with a jab or half extended right cross... all three of the guys i listed would and could do the same... sometimes they didnt get the BIG KO win IS because they were fighting the likes of a mccall, chuvalo, foreman, etc.... :good
