    During the "Contender" series you can tell by the look on Leonard's face that Gomez would of been his kryptonite even in his very prime. I doubt he would've taken the fight or waited until he was far past his prime to offer a contract similar to Hagler.

    Prime for Prime Gomez brutally rapes Leonard in Montreal like fashion where Leonard pisses blood for a month contemplating retirement.

    Yeah, Gomez called Sugar Ray out in the CONTENDER when the camera's weren't looking. SRL ducked him and asked Rocky Balboa to take the fight instead. Gomez slapped Rocky around like the club fighter he is. Gomez then got the idea to fight the real eye-of-the-tiger, the late Arturo Gatti.
