Nay_Sayer, you're MUCH MUCH worse than even the worst Klitz nuthugger. Much worse. You're not even interested in any civilized discussion. You just post drivel.

    You should be banned.

    You sorry sack of ****....................

As if all Klitschko's recent opponents haven't tried to counter him? Did you start watching boxing yesterday? They can't counter him effectively because he doesn't let them. The "pawing" jab is just a range finder but it's sometimes used to hide the right hand that will follow. He also hooks off the jab better as good as anyone. When Wlad does snap the jab he has more power in that punch alone than Holmes had.

I said Wlad's power is up there with Forman, Lewis, Louis, etc.

Holmes' jab may have been faster or more consistent but you're lying to yourself if you think it was a harder punch than Wlad's. Holmes relied on the jab so much because he wasn't a KO puncher, Wlad is.

Wlad has very very good punching power. But he tends to break oponents down. That may have more to do with his cautious style these days.

But still mabye not top 10, but he is still a monster hitter.

2 big wins over the smallish Holyfield is all Bowe has. He blatantly ducked Lewis, never fought Tyson & he was embarrassed against Golota twice.

Wladimir ranks above Bowe on any serious ATG list. :deal

what part of "decent counterpuncher" don't you understand? who are the afolabi's, ward's, bradley's, kotelnik's, harding's of the HW division who aren't severely outweighed/outsized? does Wlad himself ever throw a counter? hell no. you dumb****. did you happen to see donaire make a bloody mess out of maldonado who foolishly and constanty pawed his lead hand?

and yes, wlad's jab is more powerful than holmes'.

he does. but bowe can match wlad for ability.

When he started beating all the other guys. :patsch

The Ring just gave him their coveted title since he beat the defacto WBA champion & he already won the WBO & IBF titles.

No one in their right mind considers Valuev the Champ.

While I think it's pointless to argue exactly what number Wlad would be on the list, I also think that only an idiot would deny that he is one of the hardest punchers the HW division has seen. His punch technique is also better than most who have fought at that weight, especially those considered power punchers.

Stupid, ignorant **** like that is what leads me to believe that you're just a biased hater. Typical here at ESB lately, bash the level of competition if you don't like the guy that ends up on top.

    Worse eras than today's:

    Jack Johnson
    Jack Dempsey
    Joe Louis
    Rocky Marciano
    Larry Holmes
    Mike Tyson

Not every era can be as talent rich as Ali's or Lewis' eras..............and even they had some questionable defenses against guys that wouldn't qualify today.

Sultan Ibragimov tried to counter for 12 full, less than exciting rounds. Brock had some early success with countering as did Thompson. Touch of **** also had that nice counter.

Do you require more references? Pull your head outta your ass already................

Every single fighter Wlad has faced has tried to counter punch, it's part of the game.

Vitali is an excellent counterpuncher for the record.

I'd definitely have Wladimir ranked high, around a Lewis level puncher. The man can hit.

Fights where opponents have lasted longer than expected have mainly been due to their defensive nature and/or Wlad being over cautious, not Wladimir actually lacking the power.
