I don't buy Mundine's my eye is sooo bad BS, I still believe it was a minor infection, but he is milking that cow to have an excuse for fighting yet another bum, because he knows all the gullible fans will say, "he's entitled to take an easy comeback fight, the Man nearly lost his sight".:roll:

Funny how people didn't buy into his injured arm excuse (after Nievas), and all of a sudden he is nearly blind instead.:think

 

I bought the arm injury scenario because JB1 (who is a lifetime hater) met him in his physio while it was getting worked on.

Major or Minor eye injury, if a doctor publicly states he may lose some vision permanently then you should start to worry.

The media has a way of bending statements to make them look more sensational. Sensation seels, you know. Have you seen a clip with a doctor saying this? My guess is that you read it.

I think he was injured both times but exaggerated the extend of the injuries to make an excuse for not stopping Nievas, and secondly to be able to stall fighting a worthy opponent and thereby getting closer to a Calzaghe/Kessler fight (BIG moneyfight) without taking any risks. But believe want you want, I already said I was sure he would get over his eye injury and fight again when the news about his infected eye got out, and I was so sure that I offered to bet on it. But people saw a picture where his eye was very red and read that a doctor had said so and so and suddenly everybody believed the con.:yep

 

people at the KT forum are saying 'mundine is not fighting in december'atsch

 

I bought it hook, line and sinker, good prank.:good But i still maintain that Mundine will be back soon fighting lousy opposition.

See people like Boxfan99 are not total idiots. They just become total idiots when talking about Mundine. Totally irration stuff such as seen in this thread. Expect this irrational thinking to lead Boxfan about a month from now to quote this article as from Mundine especially "why would Green fight Taver" or something like that. I mean how could a rational brain possibly interprete Mundines comments on 9/11 the way Boxafan has or to truely beleive that Mundine is faking an injured eye (as humiliating as it has been for Mundine)
