Are you saying Lewis agreed that he would be knocked out in the rematch lol...excuse me for laughing lol...
Lewis may not have feared a rematch with Vitali, but it is documented fact that his trainer sure as hell did. Manny told Lennox no rematch! And then warned him if he did rematch, it was without him. That speaks volumes.
One thing the Vitali haters should be able to agree on: We should be grateful Vitali - Lewis ever happened in the first place. Easily the best HW titlefight of the decade, hands down. I still love watching it every now and then. The staredown alone still gets me excited, I always end up watching all rounds.
Great Post man! What I wrote Was just to **** of Brits because they are so arrogant it is discusting..:-( If im honestly ,Lennox is just better boxer than Klitschkos and would be the the favourite if they ever fight again, means Lewis prime/Vitali Prime. It just **** the **** off me when Brits pretend like Vitaly was walk in the Park ub that fight or would ever be, it just is not true.. i wonder Who are you Magnanasakkki, anyway Great to have you here!:thumbsup Damn im on loose with booze again
This is the sole reason why nobody respects you as a poster. When Pac retires, you'll go back to **** fighting betting, and we ain't talking about chickens...
Lewis by surprisingly early KO. Think of Vitali being rocked by Sanders in their bout, but up against a fully trained, in-shape iteration of Lewis who wouldn't be as generous as the South African semi-pro. Vitali is a fine boxer but I see no reason to suppose that he'd be competitive with Lewis firing close to full power. Lewis KO2 That said, circa 2003 I'm not convinced Lewis could have got into the shape he'd have required to in order to make it a comfortable fight, hence his sensible retirement.
I certainly don't recall anyone saying Lewis was in him prime against Tyson. References and/or links please. As for V.K. he probably would have lost the vision in that one eye had the fight been allowed to continue. The fact he couldn't see out of it wasn't going to help him going forward. Your knowledge of the sport appears to be limited if you think Lewis was in his prime against Tyson and that his eye wasn't significantly injured during that fight. I've been watching boxing for about 35+ years and I don't recall a worse cut. (which was one of about 3 or 4 btw)
I dont know but just some Weird, Perverse way I like you ***** as a poster This content is protected This content is protected Man you just own yourself post after post you silly Willyatsch:rofl Nallege, -Vitaly cant body punch. Jesus Man you just love to own youlself, no shame at all?
He didn't loose by injury, he lost because he was cut from punches thrown with intent to cause harm, and they did.
There's some truth in this, but then again as the fight progressed Lewis started walking through V.K.'s punches, which tells me he wasn't worried about getting hit by them. Go watch the fight and see in the later rounds, Lewis simply allowed V.K. to hit him so he could land his power punches. And v.K. was practically drapped over Lewis in part of the 6 round so that upper cut, hurt him.
Lewis' chin was questionable too. You'll never see the likes of Vitali or Golota out for the count. But I totally agree with what you're saying.
Well you can if you actually watched both of their careers. anyone who's watched Lewis through out his career could see he was almost a shadow of himself. His speed and rythem, and timing were all off. But that's what made the fight exciting. I actually gained a ton of respect for V.K. in that fight and I think he's a damn good fighter, just not an ATG like Lewis is. But no shame in that.
