There is a problem. Some people will not accept the fact that Pac will be making history if he succeeds in this fight. Too much envy, not even hate.

Didn't Pacquiao said out of his own mouth that he don't care about the title not being on the line in the first place? Now 2 or 3 days later Pacquiao wants it to be a title fight? I bet Pacquiao lawyers and Freddie Roach is whispering in Pacquiao ears to make Pacquiao change his mind. Man i swear Pacquiao is a great fighter inside the ring but out of the ring Pacquiao is ******ed.

And Cotto is scared of losing that title. No other reason not to throw it in.

You want it so bad then make the fight at 147.

No I get what you and the rest of the Pac sackswingers WANT..That is a weakened Cotto. Fighting at a catchweight is one thing, but to try and strongarm Cotto to weigh less then what is called for is another. Point being what happens if Pac wins, then will he demand that everyone that fights for the wbo 147 pound title come in at 145??? No its you and the others that have your heads shoved firmly in Pacs ass that dont get it.

The reason not to throw in the 147 pound title is that the fight isnt at 147 pounds. Cotto isnt scared to put up his title, he dont want to put it up unless he gets the fight were he wants the fight at, its no different then Pac tring to get the million per pound thrown in. Problem is you cats cant see that, you only see one side. Both guys have the right to demand whatever they want, but it seem as if in your eyes and those that think like you is that only Pac has the right to make demands.

Then why accept the fight? He's going to fight him anyways. Even if Pac didnt ask for it, it should be a given. Maybe, the best explanation here is that if Cotto did lose, he can claim that he's drained and still get a chance to fight at 147lbs to defend his title. Or If he wins, he gets all the praises for fighting the smaller guy and yet got paid for the biggest purse of his career. Btw, Pac's demands were not given to him, Cotto won the negotiations.

Cotto has shownme nothing that he's scared of losing or scared of anybody took on the big bad monster Margarito without flinching lost the fight and the title and did not cry about it simply said " I'm ready to fight margarito again or anybody else". He may have his flaws as a fighter but he's no *****.

Thats why its confusing that this is not a title fight. If you're not afraid of anyone, why the reservation?

143/145/147 if you agree to fight, you lay it down.

Is it really just the money?

wtf, all this noise between 2 lbs and a belt.

i say pac walk off and leave cotto with his belt. lets see if cotto will ever get a chance to earn money or recognition as much as this fight.

everybody that backs cotto acts as if pac is not risking anything on this fight. and yet while cotto hides his belt, pac risks his p4p ranking for this fight.

walk off pac. you don't need this fight as much as cotto does.

You're an idiot if you think Cotto is scared of losing his title. If Pacquiao wants that title belt so bad then fight at the welterweight limit at 147 pounds. Isn't that so hard? And dude Cotto has fought Quintana, Mosley, Margarito, Clottey and he's scared to put his title against Pacquiao? Are you freaking stupid?
