A kid my son spars with is fighting tomorrow night at Nokia and he is in great shape we just finished some hard sparring with him yesterday no tape allowed because they dont want it to leak out to give his opponent any kind of edge. Ricky Lopez 123.6 vs Eder Peralta 123 Eder can ****ing fight and Ricky well lets just hope he is up for it Ricky is 4-0 with 2 KO's however I also think this is going to be the fight of the night and if so they get paid an extra grand for that.:good
I am ****ing nervous well more hyped than nervous I know what Eder is about and honestly Ricky is in for it.
I know But I am okay its really part of the kicker you know, once the bell rings I know im in it, so its all to the good. I just need that bell to ring.
it went the distance, he didnt get the nod from the Judges what he did get was the broadcasters actor Mario Lopez and alot of fans saying that he won that fight, even his opponent couldnt stop giving him props, I think the reason we didnt get the nod is because he fought a kid who is in the same Training camp as Victor Ortiz~ However I beleive he won it, what would you rather do go home knowing that you were robbed and hearing that from fans broadcasters etc... Or go home with a win you know you didnt earn?
He did well I know for sure he won the last two rounds clearly, the first round I though was his as well, the 2nd round he did get tagged but he got through that he didnt get dropped. I just hate to see this happen to him becuase he has waited so long for this he signed three contracts and each time they backed out this was his only shot to get on that card, and it was against a guy that was 4-0 with 2 knock outs a big risk for your pro debut, but I really think he left a good accounting of himself there when you have broadcasters and people telling you that you won that fight, that is a good thing likely they will bring him back.
