Ali without doubt for mine. It gets a bit murkier after him, with guys like Louis, Holmes, Liston, Lewis etc.

I would pick Muhammad Ali first. I'm sure that will come as little surprise to those familiar with my posts ! Runners up would be Joe Louis and Larry Holmes respectively.

Yep was Frazier-Marciano. Interesting to see Liston win the tournament. The only thing about simulations like that is it's hard to implement intangibles and such. Liston winning in a simulation is a little surprising, though.

Yeah, haha. Couldn't go back in the poll and edit it either.

I think I did that fight, I can't remember. I was a little suprised to see Liston win it all. I set it up like a Baseball playoff table so some fighters didn't get to fight each other. For example, Liston didn't get to fight Ali because oddly enough, Frazier beat Ali in a prime for prime match-up. Then Liston KO'd Frazier early. He also beat Tyson, Foreman, and others.

Right, I'm pretty sure Marciano beat Ali once while Ali beat Marciano to. Under the same conditions. It's always weird like that. I guess doing it out of 5 or 10 times would be best...

If we're time-machining -- bringing them straight out of their own times -- I'd go with Ali, and also Lewis, Louis, Holmes and Tyson way up there, Holyfield and Marciano pretty good, too; if they're coming along at the same time, I'd go with Ali, also Sullivan and Louis way up there, as well as Jeffries if the fight is 20 rounds or more, with Dempsey, Marciano and Holmes pretty good, too.

Please walk out into the woods with a pistol and blow your brains out for this outrage.

On a side note you missed some other good choices.
