The weight really is not what is risky for Cotto, he should make it with no problems. It's the fact that he is coming out of two of his toughest fights. Miguel is banged up physicaly and mentally. He needs to give his wounds a little more time to heal.

ok, shitty may be a little too strong. but isn't your reason that this is an almost sure fight for pac make it kinda well, sumting sumting.

at this point of time in pacs career when he is talking about going to politics, these aren't the kinds of fight we'd like him to be except for the belt. other than that, this from the view of pac's legacy is quiet meaningless. i admit it will still be fun to watch, but that is due to pac. but if they were not fighting for something, it won't be as deep.

rediculous...can we just stop with the exuses. EVEN FIGHT. BOTH WILL GAIN FROM A WIN. Loser also gains for fighting the other... unless they get blown out like Hatton.

Just because Cotto weighs 147 does not mean that Pacquiao has to weigh 147. If he wants to weigh in at 145 or even 140 there is no one stopping him.

Pac's taking all the risks. He's going in with a major weight disadvantage, and if he loses, he can kiss any chance of a fight with Mayweather, bye-bye.

There is big reward though. if he wins the fight with Mayweather is pretty much a lock and he is in a strong bargaining position.

Pac is taking a bigger risk. If he loses, then he can kiss his fight w/ FMJ good bye. Pac/FMJ would easily earn both fighters their biggest payday.
