Which fighter has GREATER Power??

Manny is like Mike Tyson. He throw punches in bunches and he's a SHARP puncher. Accurate and fast and you don't see the punches coming. That's why he's so devastating.

Tyson was the only person to KO Larry Holmes. After the fight Holmes said Tyson was not in any way the hardest puncher he had fought but he was the 'sharpest' and 'most accurate' puncher he had fought.

Cotto has more power but Manny's punches have more snap, are more accurate and much faster.

Pac has way more ring intelligence. This fight won't be decided by raw power. You can't club Pac into submission with raw brute strength. You need brain power and that is what Cotto is lacking IMO.

Theory: Caveman Valuev is as slow as Frankenstein that he, in my opinion, is unable to apply his full strength. I mean in a weightlifting contest he probably might lift more than either Klitschko but in a fight he is too slow that he would not hit as hard as the K-brothers:think

If one cannot see a punch coming (due to it's speed), the impact would be more devastating then when one is prepared to take the punch with the same amount of power. In that way, I would say Pac can hit harder but Miguel might be stronger. In a "Ruizhugfest" I would say that Cotto would outwrestle Pac but seeing Pac fight it's safe to say that there isn't much holding in his fights

 

wrong. Jmm footspeed might be equal to cotto's but his hands and counter punching and accuracy is far superior to cotto's. Thats why pac get tagged by JMM but to say it will be the same scenario as JMM vs Pac is not correct. And cotto has a diff. style. But even though this will no be an easy fight for pac. Pac need to be cautious he might be KTFO by cotto if he gets careless

I think Cotto has the greater power but it's a bit unfair of the OP to say that Manny just caught Hatton with a great punch considering he had him on the canvas twice before the KO.

 

Speed+Mass=Power. Manny is much faster and a little smaller. Those sharp punches are more than anything Cotto has as far as 1 punch goes. Physically Cotto is stronger and should be able to push Manny around.
