I think Pavlik takes this fight cleanly. JT's right hand down the pike was touching Winky and Pav's may do worst at this older stage in his life.

If Paul and really Goosen who has the 10/3 date for a Williams/Areolla doubler header. If he doesn't have the date, why does he acknowledge the HBO offer for the Dzinziruk fight? yes it's less but it is also equal to what HBO offered to Pav for the sturm fight. And if Paul doesn't have the date then why is HBO offering 2 mil for the DZ fight?

Rafeal is very bias. it's clear in his opinions.

I've tried to tell people the HBO date is not 'owned' by Goosen/Williams so it didn't mean **** when it came to negotiating. HBO will act in their own best interest. PERIOD. Well, at least what the 'perceive' to be their own best interest. :D

Yes Rafael is very bias, and like it or not, he is a hard core Pavlik hater. That should tell you how far out of line Goosen and Williams are.

Taylor style he's throws wild punches while Pavlik throws straighter punch. Also While Taylor was throwing punches, he was doing it by moving back. Pavlik doesn't fight moving back.

If the HBO date of 10/3 doesn't belong to Goosen/Williams...why is it that HBO offered 2mil for the DZ fight on the same date?

When JT kept it in the middle of the ring he was winning but when he let Wink back him to the ropes that's whan wink would score...though it still felt and looked to me that JT was allowing this b/c he was looking for a big shot.

Pavlik wouldn't need to fight going backwards. lets face it too this wink is not 2006 wink.

They're not exactly offering him equal money. They've offered a total of $2m. Williams will probably get a 60/40 split, so that's $1.2m. Sponsorship + gate is unlikely to be more than $1.5m. In total, Williams probably makes about $1.5m. Against Pavlik, he almost certainly makes more $2m.

Still, this is a true test of Williams "Anyone, anywhere" mantra. He can get a decent payday at low risk or a great payday at high risk. Will Pdub roll the dice?
