The fact that Klitschko let a STIFF like Gomez take him into the later rounds says alot.

And despite the fact that Klitschko won, he still looked like absolute shi'ite. Pawing with that excuse for a jab, telegraphing his punches to the extent that AT&T would be envious, no movement, and just plain S L O W.

The first guy he fights with head movement, a pulse, and a punch is gonna take him...

LOL, I'm not a Klitschko hugger but that's just not probable. Commander Evander couldn't beat Valuev, although I thought he did well and I think it should have at least been a draw.

Valueav is horribly slow though. Vitali probably would have his hands full with Evander but hes tall and awkward enough he should be able to keep Evander at bay for 12 rounds.

Gomez landed headbutts against Vitali, intentional and not there were plenty of clashes of heads.

nowhere in that sentence did you describe any virtue of the 2009 version of Holyfield.

You had a point about the Klit huggery, but then you just lost it with the Holyfield talk. :-(

Please tell me one other person that got rid of Gomez in such emphatic fashion? The Diaz fight was a fluke, as the ref stopped it early, but even after that fight Gomez beat the likes of Bakhtov, McCall, and Virches, all guys that would most likely be favored over Holyfield.

Holyfield looked good against a lazy Valuev who didn't want to fight him and who needed gift decisions to beat John Ruiz. Holy had a few good flurries on some rounds while Valuev did next to nothing. Not enough te be a danger to Vitali in any way.

The worst thread ever made in ESB history?

I need to keep a record of these and then do a vote!

Holyfield is so old he has already ordered his coffin, and he got beat by Valuev.

Valuev would get KTFO by Vitali inside 3 rounds.

Gomez, @ heavyweight, has fought nobody but BUMs, STIFFs, Tomato Cans, and No-Hopers - and that's being generous...

Do we need to look @ the records?
