Figured w/ all the Tiger threads going on, I should also contribute to this. Who wins it?

Um.....I can't see Qawi bothering Tiger with his offence, he could stifle but not stop Tiger.

It all comes down to who you think is stronger. Qawi was a very small guy but proved his durability at three weight classes. Tiger's durability doesn't need to be questioned. I'd say Qawi is slightly faster........I say Qawi PTS in a very close and hard-fought battle. I'll understand completely if people say Tiger; even at LHW he was a beast.

I'd probably also take Qawi at LHW, though it would've been a hell of a fight. I could see the case for those taking Tiger, though.

tiger's strength would be much less evident here as qawi was the naturally larger man (who happened to built like an armored truck at 175 anyway). Both men were excellent on the inside and loved to counter, but qawi's superior defense gets him a decision.

I think Qawi could have some success in neutralizing Tiger's physical strength. Johnny Davis was able to briefly back Ike up early by bombing away with monster hooks, but this required too much energy to be sustained for any length of time. An old and out of shape Qawi stood up to Foreman surprisingly well for a few rounds.

This is one instance were I'd put money on it going to the scorecards.

Qawi was just too thick and strong for Tiger...... Tiger is game, but also out-gunned....... Qawi by stoppage late in the game.........
