He might not be perfect but he's got reasonable talent, held a belt, is a proven gatekeeper (at least), took Bradley into some rough waters and tonight fights abroad in a match up where the sanctioning body pulls out over 'dubious' judge appointments and he is a clear 2/1 underdog against a guy who quiet frankly has fought nobody in comparison to his own resume. I get the distinct smell of bull****..... This content is protected
Have got a feeling something dramatic (well a knockdown at least) will occur which will make the scoring of the fight straightforward. I think someone is going to get dominated.
He's 2-1 underdog because no one in America knows who he is and he was rubbish against Bradley. Throw into that Alexander is much younger, undefeated and promoted by Don King and you have a clear favourite to the general public. See the UK odds are much less... Witter tends to **** himself over by never training for enough endurance past 7-8 rounds, the amount of times I've seen him make a massive start then slowly degenerate is unreal. He has mental problems - always rubbish as the favourite and/or scared shitless against good fighters. If he had stepped it up training wise years ago and sorted his head he could have been an incredible fighter. As it is he may still pick up belts at 140 but he will always have undersold his potential.
Could have been , but never was and has the ****in god damn cheek to sit back and critisise Ricky Hatton and Amir Khan , Witter is gutless , he has talent yes but no heart or balls he is a phoney and a joke to British boxing , im rooting firmly for Alexander as i want to see the end of this twat at world level then we will only be hearing about him in the shitty British boxing forum that no one bothers with . Although i would love to see Khan blow him away afterwards !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
witters a **** his mouth is way 2 big for his own good he talks like his going to murder someone and come fight time he fights like a ***** he is **** hope he gets ktfo
Is it me or does Don King seem to be immortal? I know he's getting on, but he never seems to lose energy or work ethic, never slows down, despite his advancing years!
I don't really care who wins just as long as it goes into the Championship rounds, which this fight and the Bradley fight will probably go to. The people doing the sportsbook are giving away easy money.
Witter never got the fight h e rightfully deserved against Hatton. I hope he wins tonight and gets a big fight with Khan in Manchester.
When I think of Junior Witter, I think of a fighter who has had refs in his dam pocket. He likes to hug his opponents more than actually fight them. GROUP HUG! I really hate it when refs let fighters stall like this. I've seen the guy run at his opponents with his arms extended....
Witter has only himself to blame for his career to date.He seems more interested in his "image" than his record. He pose's and postures even when he's losing and although he can box and has KO power,he'd rather just strut around the ring like some kind of superstar. I hope he wins tonight, but he must be more dedicated and stop riding Hatton in order to earn a big payday.
