In my book, it's an unequivocal YES.
(and that ain't just because he beat up on my current favorite fighter, Cotto)
It's because what he did was so unethical, unsporting and downright dangerous, he lost the right to earn a living in this sport for the bravest of the brave.
    Do you agree

    YES

    or

    NO

 Dry hands. Lotion smeared onto those pads.

That's a lot of lotion just left on the knuckles somehow.

I don't really care, he didn't win the fight and he suffered his first knockout loss of his career ... he suffered more inside that ring than he would ever being suspended or banned.

We wouldn't be talking about this cat had Miguel Cotto beat him ...

No he shouldn't be banned for life. Let's not get carried away. I hope he learned his lesson, and it will be interesting to see what people say if he fights Cotto again and beats him without the hand wrap question?

What would you say then, Cotto was already damaged goods? Wouldn't Cotto be more determined than ever to beat the **** out of a man who tried to hospitilize him. Or would people say the trauma of that loss was to much for this grown man to bare?

What would you say if margo won the rematch against Cotto?

I have mixed feelings on this matter. I have always been a big fan of Cotto, and was an admirer of Margarito prior to the scandal.

I just can't help but feel sorry for Cotto. Suffering what he did in that fight, losing his clean record as well as his aura of invincibility. I'm worried that he's become the shell of his former self. He's had that sense of confidence ruthlessly taken away from him, no one deserves that. If his career has indeed been ruined by that one defeat, then I believe Margarito should never fight again. But the problem is....we'll never actually find out how long Margarito had been loading his gloves. For now we can only make assumptions
