As young as the division is, how could he not be in the top 5?

    Yes, for me.

Great fighter did not duck any one and fought oversea's most of the time in the other fighters home land.

There is a reason PBF, SSM and ODLH did not fight Kostya, no saying he wins but the risk/reward is not there.

    Probably.

And if he's not, then he's certainly a top five alltime dancing instructor.

He took less than two rounds to teach Zab that entertaining little routine.

Yes and anyone telling you different is just hating.

    Its that simple.

    Kostya Tszyu at 140

    18 World Title Fights.
    15 World Title Wins
    2 World Title Loses
    1 NC
5 World Title Wins on Home Soil
10 World Title Wins on Foreign Soil
11 World Title Wins by Stoppage
    Only Undisputed 140 Champion.
Overall held a 140 Title Belt 9 years and 7 months.

Now some saying that Benitez should be higher or Dela Hoya etc.

Now common. These are two fighters that fought there for about 2 years each thats it.

What the **** does Head 2 Head have to do with being the best at the weight.

To me it mean the best Champions the weight has had.
    Aaron Pryor
    11 World Title Fights
    11 World Title wins
11 World Title wins on Home Soil.
9 World Title Wins by Stoppage
    Never Unified the division.
Overall Held a Belt for 4 years and 11 months.

    Julio C Chavez at 140
    23 World Title Fights
    18 World Title Wins
    3 World Title Loses
    2 World Title Draws
13 World Title wins by Stoppage
6 World Title Fights on Home Soil
17 World Title Fights on Foreign Soil
    Unified 2 belts
Overall Held a 140 belt 7 years and 1 month.

    Antonio Cervantes
    21 World Title Fights
    18 World Title Wins
    3 World Title Loses
    12 World Title Stoppages
4 World Title fights on Home Soil
17 World Title Fights on Foreign Soil
Held 140 belt for a total of 6 Years and 9 Months

Now when i look at it Tszyu more than measures up.

**** he he held a Belt longer, he was the only man to unify all the belts.
I bet there will be a heap in here that say this and that about he never faced anyone elite.

My only comeback is the same man knocked the **** out of Judah and the great PBF went 12 rounds 5 years after when Zab was hardly the same fighter.

Mate i would have loved to see PBF man up against Tszyu.

Its probably my most sort after super dream fight.

Based on resume, whether or not he is in the top 5 doesn't even need discussing.

Based on ability and rated in a head to head sense, in his prime, Tszyu is in the top 5 at any weight, in the history of the sport. He was simply that good.

  7. thats bull**** have you ever even watched tszyu vs hatton. Get your facts straight

  8. as for kosta tszyu being in the top 5 of all time in the light-welterweights i couldn't agree more. i've got him at #2

Great post boppa. Barney remove your head from ya arse. Tzsyu unifies the 140lb division, the only fighter to do so in history & there's people out there saying no way. Some fans have no ****en clue!
