well put and if he's looked at in this light, then yes the top 10 could use him. he'll never be on top and will more than likely be a gatekeeper after he takes on a couple of the hobos fighting in the top 10 now. good test for anyone

I remember all those articles, explaining why Iggy is one of the best HWs ever and how he has this tremendous heart! LOL

    Worst bum ever.

After his last three FOTY contenders, one can only be thrilled.

There might be hope here. Jeff Mayweather changed him somewhat. He was watchable before that.

I know this thread has some mixed results, but the reality is, even if he comes back and fights a "warm-up" fight he'll be close to a top ten fighter right off the bat. When you figure you have guys like Holyfield, Maskaev, Ruiz hanging around the 10-15 range, and Iggy has won a title, and beat some decent names he'd be back in the mix in no time.

"I'm not retiring, I just plan on fighting once every 160 weeks."

If its good enough for presidential elections its good enough for the heavyweight nobodies.

Ibragimov is a pretty good fighter. But will punch other fighters at press conferances which is not cool when they are just trying to promote the fight. We dont need people getting knocked out at press confrances for talking trash.

I noticed the ussaually big mouth shannon Briggs didnt talk trash to Sultan like he did before fighting Liakhovich.
