    Ray Leonard would prob chop Williams down.
    Too fast, + SRL's pop is often very underrated at his best.

    you know whats interesting....

    and I may be the only person who has noticed this (about to make a thread) but from fight to fight he makes such noticeable & clear Improvement.. more so than any other fighter I have watched in my life.. its like every fight he literally goes up one level as far as improvements go
    ha ha ha I wonder who the other nut was... probably nbaiken

    Leonard always struggled against Hearns but Williams is no Tommy Hearns. Leonards footwork would see him win a UD.

    You posted this poll as if there was some sort of decision to be made. Williams is a tough dude, but he's no SRL. I'm not sure he even has the firepower to get SRL off of him if Ray decides to make an early night of it.

    If he couldn't outbox someone (very rare) he would try to knock them the **** out, and he was ridiculously dangerous in either mode. SRL could CRACK.

    Ray would test the chin and stop Williams. For some reason I see Williams being knocked out with a bodyshot from Ray in midrounds.

    Well. Williams can't box like Hearns, doesn't have Hearns lighting quick jab, doesn't hit nearly as hard. He might have better stamina, and MAYBE a better chin (check who actually KO'd Hearns...). Williams has a high work rate but it's not a + over Hearns, just different style.

    Leonard TKO. He's too fast, has good power and Williams is hittable.
